Thursday Night Football
Baltimore @ Tampa Bay
Team Totals: Ravens 23.5, Bucs 21.5
The Ravens visit a reeling Bucs team that’s dropped four of its last five and risks missing top CB Carlton Davis (hip), nickel CB Sean Murphy-Bunting (quad), and FS Antoine Winfield Jr. (concussion) after losing key reserve Logan Ryan (foot) to I.R. Lamar Jackson is coming off of his year-worst game in Week 7’s win over Cleveland but has banked top-15 fantasy quarterback finishes in 5-of-7 starts, including two overall QB1 results. I’m confidently standing by Lamar as an elite fantasy starter. … With J.K. Dobbins (knee) on I.R., the Ravens deployed a true three-man RBBC last Sunday. Gus Edwards led the unit in carries (16), rushing yards (66), and TDs (2). Kenyan Drake ran 11 times. Justice Hill was featured in the fourth quarter of Baltimore’s victory, parlaying five rushing attempts into 26 yards. None of the three caught a pass. Coming off of his season debut following last year’s ACL, LCL, and hamstring tears, I think it’s fair to wonder how Edwards’ lower body will respond on a short week. The Bucs have held enemy backs to the NFL’s eighth-fewest fantasy points. I’m treating Edwards as a touchdown-or-bust flex play, Drake as my favorite single-game DFS-tournament gamble of the group, and Hill as a deep-league flex-option sleeper.
