Houston @ Tennessee
Team Totals: Titans 19.5, Texans 16.5
The Texans have deployed a QB committee in their last two games, and OC Pep Hamilton said it will continue at Tennessee. Davis Mills and Jeff Driskel each played 50% of the snaps in Week 14 before Mills held an 83% to 29% advantage in Week 15’s close loss to the Chiefs. Mills has attempted 45 passes to Driskel’s 10, while run-first Driskel has handled 11 carries. Neither is even on the two-QB/Superflex radar here. … In Dameon Pierce’s (ankle, I.R.) Week 15 absence, Dare Ogunbowale (43%) paced the Texans’ running back room in playing time, Royce Freeman (38%) led in carries (11), and Rex Burkhead (19%) drew 4-of-5 backfield targets. This three-man committee is off box-score limits, especially against a Titans defense yielding the NFL’s second-fewest fantasy running back points. … Brandin Cooks (calf) hasn’t played since Week 12 but is due back for Week 16. He has just one touchdown on the year and zero 100-yard games, but the Titans are allowing the NFL’s most fantasy points to wide receivers. Wholly unsure of Cooks’ commitment to going all out for his team, I’m treating him as a boom-bust WR4/flex option.
