One of the more predictable players in fantasy, C.J. Stroud’s only three QB1 finishes last year came against the Ravens (21st in EPA/dropback), Niners (25th), and Cardinals (26th); he averaged 12.2 points (QB33) in 11 surrounding starts. Given Stroud’s weakness when pressured — 7.7 yards per attempt (12th) from a clean pocket compared to 5.6 (27th) under duress — in Houston’s blatant run-first attack, the 24-year-old remains a low-end QB2 who can be streamed in Superflex leagues against lesser defenses.
