Hey, it’s trade deadline week; that means you had better be careful with some guys who are reportedly in trade talks. Let’s just go through some of the buzz this morning. Of course, shout out to The Athletic for most of these tidbits. It’s so worth the price and I can’t even tell you guys how much I need it to produce NBA content.
Aaron Gordon has reportedly requested a trade, so he might not even play until the deadline. Of course, you can’t put him in your DFS lineup. Chuma Okeke would be the guy I’d want to stash from this fallout. Evan Fournier is also likely gone, but the Magic just don’t have enough good depth. We might get some Karim Mane action, and this would also really help Michael Carter-Williams until Cole Anthony gets back. Chris Haynes reports that the Blazers are also basically out of the Gordon sweepstakes (at least for now, he said “diminished”).
Victor Oladipo is likely a goner here, and of course you already know who benefits most. Besides Kevin Porter Jr., Christian Wood could also get more shots while Kenyon Martin Jr. should also find a clearer path to minutes as coach Stephen Silas slides guys around. Sterling Brown also seems to have Silas’ trust for more minutes when Wall sits out.
