Well, today already sucks with the news of Jamal Murray (knee) tearing his ACL. For today, we really don’t have much going on. We do have a rescheduled game today with the Nets at Wolves going down at 4 pm EDT.
Afternoon Updates
The big one here is P.J. Washington (ankle) is out and Terry Rozier (knee) is doubtful. That means we should see a ton of Devonte’ Graham and Brad Wanamaker as the main guards with likely some Grant Riller filling in as a second unit ball-handler. I’d expect the Martin Bros, Cody and Caleb, to provide most of the bench depth with Caleb as a SG/SF and Cody as a SF/PF. Miles Bridges and Jalen McDaniels are set to play a ton of minutes here, and it should be Cody Zeller and Bismack Biyombo handling the C minutes.
The Lakers filed their injury report with two centers listed as questionable with Andre Drummond (elbow) and Marc Gasol (hamstring) on there. Plus, Dennis Schroder (hip), Wesley Matthews (Achilles) and Kyle Kuzma (calf) are probable, but I still think Kuzma is more of a questionable guy. If the bigs can’t go, obviously Montrezl Harrell could be in a huge spot while Markieff Morris and maybe Devontae Cacok could get more run.
