Each week in this space, we’ll look at how ADP has changed over the past week in best ball drafts. We’re looking at ADP over the last seven days compared to ADP 8-14 days ago. We’ll start off each week by looking at some of the notable movers, then at the end take a quick look at what we’re curious about in the next week, as well as a complete overview of the biggest risers and fallers on Underdog, FFPC, and DraftKings.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Each week, Adam Levitan reviews ADP data and also provides his take on some of these situations.
THIS WEEK’S RISERS
- Footballguys’ Drew Davenport is my go-to source for legal issues in the NFL, and he wrote an awesome thread on the Rashee Rice situation last week. In it, he detailed that the civil trial is on Dec. 9, but the criminal case is what we care about for NFL punishment. The criminal case has been quiet, perhaps indicating a settlement negotiation hit a snag somewhere. That would mean they have to go through the normal, lengthy legal process, which could postpone league punishment until 2025. This is simply a theory on Drew’s end, but things have been pretty quiet, and every day that passes makes it more likely that Rice will suit up in Week 1. We’ve bumped Rice slightly over the past couple of weeks and will continue to do so as long as any disciplinary action isn’t leveled.
