Golden State Warriors at Boston Celtics

Team totals: Warriors 105, Celtics 109

Projected injury report: Robert Williams (Q, knee), Andre Iguodala (Q, knee), Otto Porter Jr. (Q, foot), Stephen Curry (P, foot)

Celtics projected starters: Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Robert Williams

Warriors projected starters: Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Kevon Looney

Udoka quotes: Said Time Lord was big at rim protection, said they’ll look at matchups, said Robert Williams was better at the Wiggins matchup, said he doesn’t really know if Time Lord has it or not but he “doesn’t do a whole lot” besides playing in games, said they won’t really know how Time Lord feels until he ramps up.

Kerr quotes: Said Kerr taking Steph out had nothing to do with his injury and it was about the blowout, said Steph’s defense was solid, said the offensive rebounding killed them, said they couldn’t find the right combos, said in the first half they didn’t guard the ball and Boston was able to get downhill, said he’s not concerned with Jordan’s offense and it all starts with the defensive end of the floor, said the Warriors had bad point-of-attack defense, said the Celtics were able to get past the first line of defense, said “it is always a possibility” that Moody or Kuminga play.

Draymond quotes from his pod (check it out! Get all the Xs and Os!): Said his performance was “utterly ridiculous” and it was one of the worst games of his career, said they have to take away Tatum’s scoring or passing, said his biggest adjustment is “coming out and being Draymond Green,” said, “the biggest adjustment is me,” had some pushback on his pods affecting the game and said, “Y’all going to get this podcast.”

Stats and Notes:

Noteworthy lineup info and general notes:

*After two games of getting wrecked to start the series, the Boston starters went off in a big way with a +58.5 net rating in 10 minutes. The Warriors couldn’t get their starters going with a -47.1 net rating in eight minutes. It was the polar opposite of the first two games.

*My god, the early sub from Derrick White at 8:45 left in the first quarter. The White for Time Lord minutes were at 13 in Game 3 for the most among both teams, but it got lit up with a -33.5 net rating in that time. Interestingly, every other lineup with three-plus minutes was +25.0 or more.

The most-used GS lineup was Otto with the starters for Looney. It was great with a +28.9 net rating. Every other GS lineup with three-plus minutes was not positive except for three minutes of the PTSD lineup (three minutes combined in G1-2).
