Earlier this offseason, I wrote about my Best Ball RB Strategy, particularly for large-field tournaments. The slim version of this strategy is simple. Broadly, assume the early portions of your draft hit and maximize your total draft capital accordingly. Specifically, this points us to more extreme strategies at the RB position. In particular, I’m focused on implementing some version of the Hyper Fragile (drafting at least one RB in the first five rounds but only take four total) and Zero RB (don’t draft any RBs in first five rounds, draft 5-7 total) strategies. That’s driven in part based on last year’s success with those strategies and how, data aside, they logically allow me to build the types of tournament teams I want.
