Underdog Best Ball Sprint Rankings (UPDATES 9AM DAILY)

Below, you’ll find our rankings for Underdog’s “Sprint” tournament. This format is a Weeks 1-14 regular season contest with the top two in each league advancing to the playoffs. Cumulative scoring during Weeks 15-17 among the 3,700 remaining teams will determine the winner.

• You should not be drastically altering your strategy from traditional best ball tournaments. The same builds and strategies that help advance out of the regular season and in the playoffs apply in this format as well.
• The major added variable is increasing the weight of Weeks 15 and 16, as they each have equal importance to Week 17. This can impact your drafting by giving a boost to teams with multiple dome games or warm weather, those with opponents we expect to have poor defenses, or strong offenses that could lead to shootouts, etc.
• Week 17 bring-backs decrease in importance while Week 15 and 16 bring-backs slightly increase.
• Having to beat out ~3,700 other teams in the three-week sprint increases the importance of having unique players advancing. Using methods such as drafting players with low combinatorial ownership, players that may have lower advance rates but peaking in the playoffs, and players overall not drafted that often can give you access to contrarian teams.
