The final week of the NFL season is rife with narratives to utilize for both betting and fantasy football. One of those is trying to figure out what players may be chasing before the season comes to a close — either contract incentives or a particular milestone. We have compiled for you some of the most important items to note.

Of course, teams still in the playoff or seeding hunt won’t be overly concerned with these incentives.

Contract Incentives

1. Rico Dowdle needs 7 scrimmage yards to earn $1 million — Dowdle hits his incentive at 1,350 scrimmage yards. He should complete that fairly easily.

2. Rico Dowdle needs 1 TD to earn $250,000 — Dowdle is at 7 total TDs on the year, and needs 8 to hit the incentive.

Statistical Milestones

1. Bijan Robinson needs 255 scrimmage yards to set the single-season record — After a huge game on Monday Night Football, Robinson is 255 scrimmage yards away from breaking Chris Johnson‘s record of 2,509 scrimmage yards.

2. Christian McCaffrey needs 110 receiving yards to become the first player in history to go 1,000/1,000 twice — Should he have 159 receiving yards, CMC would break Marshall Faulk‘s record for RB receiving yards in a season. The Niners have a must-win game on Saturday. Fortunately for him, the game plan in high-stakes situations usually revolves around McCaffrey.

3. Tetairoa McMillan needs 80 receiving yards to set the Panthers’ rookie record — The current record is 1,008 yards from Kelvin Benjamin. Carolina plays a must-win game against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

4. Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb are battling to have the most catches ever in their first six seasons — Jefferson currently has one more catch than Lamb, and both have already surpassed Jarvis Landry‘s record of 564.

5. CeeDee Lamb needs 48 receiving yards to surpass Dez Bryant for fifth all-time in Cowboys history — Lamb obviously has a lot of career left in him, but it would be a nice punctuation to an otherwise disappointing season to see Lamb climb the franchise leaderboards.

6. Justin Jefferson needs 53 receiving yards for 1,000 — Jefferson has already done this in his first five seasons. He currently has 947.
