Although Chicago eked out Week 1’s upset of San Francisco amid Soldier Field’s torrential downpour, next to no tangible takeaways could be gleaned in said weather. In Week 2, I’m betting on Green Bay’s defense to tee off on Justin Fields and the Bears’ talent-poor offensive line. The Packers’ D/ST is an elite play. I want to see more from Fields on fair footing before deeming him more than a boom-bust QB1 punt. … David Montgomery out-touched Khalil Herbert 20 to 10 and out-snapped him 38 to 17 in last week’s loss, but Herbert was far more efficient on the ground (9/45/1) than Montgomery (17/26/0), which could earn Herbert increased work going forward. Montgomery is a dicey RB2 on SNF. Herbert should be rostered in all season-long leagues and warrants serious one-game DFS consideration here.
