Sunday Night Football
Tampa Bay @ L.A. Rams
Team Totals: Buccaneers 21.5, Rams 28
Baker Mayfield opened white hot with 12 TDs on 195 attempts for five (out of six possible) QB1 scores, but, from Week 7 on, he has predictably struggled to maintain that efficiency as fantasy’s QB23. L.A.’s secondary has additionally turned the corner post-bye (against Tyler Shough, Mac Jones, and Sam Darnold) for just 10.1 yards per completion (seventh) and zero passing TDs of 20+ yards. Be sure Jacoby Brissett and Brock Purdy are not available on waivers, as both are better starts than Mayfield in Week 12. … Christian McCaffrey (8/66/0) and Kenneth Walker III (3/44/0) broke the Rams for their participation through the air the past two games, which gives Rachaad White outs for running 57 routes to Sean Tucker’s 18 in that time. Even so, Tucker will likely squeeze that margin after his second RB1 finish in the last calendar year, producing 140 yards and three TDs from scrimmage. White logically offers a reception floor for his aforementioned routes, but Tucker is an RB2/3 to roster and start over him for however long Bucky Irving is out.
