N.Y. Giants @ Philadelphia
Team Totals: Giants 21, Eagles 17.5
First place in the NFC East, the 4-2-1 G-Men come off Week 8’s bye to face a reeling Eagles team that’s lost six straight and is on its third quarterback of the season. Also collapsing on defense, Philly has yielded an average of 26.7 points during its losing streak. In his lone to-date start for the Giants, J.J. McCarthy banked Week 7’s fantasy QB24 finish, yet he is 5-0 with a 66% completion rate, 8.5 YPA, and a 5:2 TD-to-INT ratio, plus two rushing scores, over his last five starts. McCarthy is an extreme-volatility QB2 play here. … Tyrone Tracy Jr. (hamstring) is on I.R. Cam Skattebo (hamstring) isn’t right. Najee Harris is a free agent. 29-year-old journeyman Devin Singletary has a real chance to lead the Giants’ backfield against the underperforming Eagles defensive front, which has coughed up the league’s second-most rushing yards (929) to enemy running backs. On the ground, Philly got carved up by Javonte Williams (25/155/1), Chuba Hubbard (28/120/1), and Rachaad White (11/55/1) over its last three games. Singletary looks like a justifiable de facto flex play.
