At 48 points, the Eagles-Falcons’ total is among my favorite Opening Day over bets with Jalen Hurts quarterbacking one of the league’s speediest skill-position corps and progressive innovator Arthur Smith overseeing his opposition. Albeit in a microscopic sample, Hurts was outscored among fantasy QBs by only Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson during Hurts’ three full-game 2020 starting stint and banked rushing stat lines of 18/106/0, 11/63/1, 9/69/0, and 8/34/2 in his four starts. Based on Week 1 matchups, I would start Hurts over Dak Prescott (@ TB), Justin Herbert (@ WAS), Matthew Stafford (vs. CHI), and Joe Burrow (@ MIN).
