The Browns visit Cincinnati in offensive disarray with Baker Mayfield playing career-worst ball, Odell Beckham excommunicated, RT Jack Conklin (dislocated elbow) out indefinitely, and Kareem Hunt (calf, I.R.) seemingly nowhere near return. Although Mike White and Lamar Jackson dropped top-seven QB1 fantasy results on Cincinnati’s defense in consecutive weeks, Mayfield has flashed virtually zero ability to stack fantasy points with fewer than 250 passing yards in five of his last six starts and two TDs or fewer in 10 straight regular season games. … Nick Chubb immediately reclaimed Browns lead-back duties in last week’s return against Pittsburgh, handling 17 touches on 56% of Cleveland’s offensive snaps. Yet D’Ernest Johnson quietly slid into Hunt’s old role, equaling Chubb in pass routes run (12), drawing three targets to Chubb’s one, and vulturing a third-quarter TD from 10 yards out. At halftime, Chubb held just a 14-to-13 advantage in snaps played over Johnson versus the Steelers. Chubb is a cinch RB1 play against a Bengals defense yielding the NFL’s 13th-most fantasy running back points. I also think Johnson is entirely flex playable with a fairly defined complementary role in an offense that leans on two backs.
