Minnesota @ L.A. Chargers
Team Totals: Chargers 27.5, Vikings 25
Kirk Cousins seeks to avoid his third rough game in a row after falling from 8.11 adjusted yards per pass attempt in his first six starts to 6.84 in his last two, while Brandon Staley’s Chargers have held enemy quarterbacks to fantasy scores of QB12 or worse in 7-of-9 games. Although Cousins’ Week 10 matchup isn’t ideal, this game’s track-meet potential has a chance to elevate pass-offense outlooks on both sides. I’m viewing Cousins as a fringe QB1/2. … With touch counts of 20, 18, and 31 in his last three games, Dalvin Cook’s eruption is unavoidably imminent. Cook’s 80% snap rate in Week 9 at Baltimore was his highest all year. Los Angeles’ run-defense vulnerability is no secret at this point; Staley’s scheme refuses to devote more than six or seven defenders in the box, while only the Lions and Jets have surrendered more fantasy points to running backs than the Bolts. All signs point to Cook absolutely eating in L.A.
