Las Vegas @ Kansas City
Team Totals: Chiefs 28.5, Raiders 19
The Raiders visit the Chiefs in a strange juxtaposition with Kansas City’s recent success being driven by DC Steve Spagnuolo’s defense and Las Vegas having managed 16 points or fewer in four of its last five games. Derek Carr without Henry Ruggs (prison) and probably Darren Waller (knee, back) simply does not forebode a fantasy-favorable bet at Arrowhead. … On the other hand, the seas have parted for Josh Jacobs to close out 2021 as one of football’s highest-volume backs. Kenyan Drake broke his ankle in Week 13’s loss to WFT, while Jalen Richard has hit the Covid list. Jacobs drew a career-high nine targets against The Football Team, played a season-high 85% of Vegas’ offensive snaps, and has handled 46 touches over the Raiders’ last two games. Attrition around him has locked in Jacobs as an RB1 play. Kansas City’s defense was roasted for 232 yards and a touchdown by Broncos running backs last week.
