Sunday Night Football
Chicago @ L.A. Rams
Team Totals: Rams 27, Bears 19.5
The Bears’ offense will merit limited fantasy attention until Justin Fields replaces Andy Dalton, a switch I expect to occur in Week 2 at home versus Cincinnati or Week 4 at home versus Detroit. On Sunday night, the Aaron Donald-keyed Rams’ D/ST stands to eat against a Bears team desperate enough on the offensive line that it lured 39-year-old LT Jason Peters out of retirement halfway through camp. … David Montgomery’s matchup is worrisome against an L.A. defense that last year permitted the league’s fifth-fewest fantasy running back points, while Damien Williams is an upgrade on Tarik Cohen (knee/PUP) as a complementary receiving back. Williams offers dart-throw sleeper appeal on one-game DFS slates. Montgomery is a bet-on-volume RB2 option but risks losing volume to versatile Williams, who has a firm understanding of Bears coach Matt Nagy’s offense after shining under Nagy mentor Andy Reid in K.C.
