Denver @ Kansas City
Team Totals: Chiefs 32, Broncos 18.5

Cleared to start following Week 12’s Covid-contact absence, Drew Lock is an exciting attack target for Kansas City’s D/ST. Over his last seven starts, Lock’s TD-to-INT ratio is 6:11 with three fumbles and an atrocious 54% completion rate, while Lock’s dropback rate should peak as a nearly two-TD road dog. The more Lock drops back to pass, the higher the box-score expectation for the defense facing him. … Phillip Lindsay’s (knee) loss positions Melvin Gordon for a near-full workload at Kansas City, whose defense enemy backs have tagged for a cool 4.55 yards per carry and 148.5 total yards per game. Gordon played a season-high 81% of Denver’s offensive snaps in Week 12’s loss to New Orleans. Assuming Lindsay sits as expected, Gordon will deserve RB2 valuation with RB1 upside. As the Chiefs have permitted the NFL’s fifth-most receiving yards to running backs (509), a Lindsay-less Gordon profiles as game-script proof.
