Week 13’s lowest-totaled game, this is a matchup to work around in fantasy-lineup decisions. … Lamar Jackson picked up a quad injury in practice Wednesday but avoided anything serious and was back in full action the rest of the week. Jackson completed a season-worst 50% of his passes in Week 12’s loss to the Jaguars but did throw for 254 yards, his second most of the year. After beginning the year with a sterling 10:2 TD-to-INT mark and two additional rushing scores in Weeks 1-3, Jackson has just one multi-score passing game and one rushing score since. Devoid of perimeter playmakers, Jackson now catches a Denver defense allowing the league’s fewest fantasy QB points. This doesn’t shape up as a ceiling spot for Jackson. … Gus Edwards (hamstring/knee) returned to handle 16-of-19 backfield carries in Week 12’s loss but continues to have zero pass-game involvement. Kenyan Drake was all but phased out of the offense, handling two carries on 18 snaps. J.K. Dobbins (knee) has been designated to return from I.R. but won’t play this week. My best guess is Edwards gets another week as the Ravens’ lead ball carrier. Denver’s weakness is against the run, surrendering 4.8 yards per carry to opposing running backs.
