Helming arguably the NFL’s most dysfunctional organization at this point, unhinged and on-tilt owner Jim Irsay is on a two-week firing and benching spree, first canning OC Marcus Brady, then initiating Matt Ryan’s benching for Sam Ehlinger, parting with Frank Reich in favor of (mostly unimpressive) ESPN analyst Jeff Saturday, and tabbing largely unknown 31-year-old offensive assistant Parks Frazier to call plays the rest of the way. The Colts also inexplicably committed to Ehlinger as their rest-of-season QB1, strange after he turned in one of the worst quarterback performances in league history in Week 9’s 26-3 blowout loss to New England. It does look like Jonathan Taylor (ankle) has a chance to return at Las Vegas, although we’ve been discouraged by the results of Taylor playing hurt several times before, and the scoring projection for Indy’s offense as an entity has crashed to the absolute bottom of the league. … Michael Pittman is the Colts’ lone playable pass catcher based on his dominant target share (29.4%) with Ehlinger quarterbacking and Raiders allowance of the NFL’s 12th most fantasy wide receiver points.
