Philadelphia @ Cincinnati
Team Totals: Eagles 22.5, Bengals 25.5
Buckle up. These two teams somehow played both the Giants and Browns the past two weeks, combining for a 4-0 record with no need to step on the gas against inferior talent; Jalen Hurts, for example, averaged 33 pass attempts through September and only attempted 25 and 14 post-bye. Jacoby Brissett (Week 1), Daniel Jones, and Deshaun Watson are the only quarterbacks who failed to toss multiple touchdowns against the Bengals, which have salavatingly permitted league-high marks in carries (7.7) and yards per game (37.7) to signal-callers. Four touchdowns from scrimmage is in Hurts’ range of outcomes. … Saquon Barkley’s revenge-driven 176 rushing yards against the Giants were the second most of his career, mirroring Hurts with seven carries apiece inside the 5-yard line to date. Philadelphia’s O-Line has created 3.73 yards before contact per attempt (second) for the veteran but will notably be short LT Jordan Mailata (hamstring, I.R.) and RG Mekhi Becton (concussion). Cincinnati at the very least has allowed four top-10 finishes to Saquon’s position. Eight of Kenneth Gainwell’s 13 touches against New York came in the second half once the Eagles took a 20-3 lead.
