I fired hard at the over on this game’s initial total posting (46) after watching The Football Team’s early-season defensive mediocrity, Taylor Heinicke’s growing confidence following last January’s compelling postseason start, and Buffalo’s Week 2 offensive bounce back. Through four 2020-2021 appearances (two starts) with Washington, Heinicke is 83-of-124 passing (67%) for 901 yards (7.3 YPA), a 5:2 TD-to-INT ratio, and 16/91/1 rushing. As Buffalo’s defense has yet to be truly tested after facing washed-up Ben Roethlisberger in Week 1 and a Dolphins team that lost its quarterback to Week 2 injury, Heinicke should be stapled into two-QB-league lineups. He’s thrown for over 300 yards in each of his two WFT starts.
