All told, Darnold has taken only three sacks and 11 hits on 76 dropbacks while averaging 8.0 yards per attempt; his YPA in three years as a Jet was 6.6. Darnold’s pocket should be clean against the Texans, who managed six combined hits on Trevor Lawrence and Baker Mayfield in Weeks 1-2. I’m upgrading Darnold to a fringe QB1/2 play here. … Even while leg cramps briefly cost Christian McCaffrey Week 2 time, CMC logged 29 touches in Carolina’s upset of the Saints, and he should run wild against Houston.
