An exceptionally eventful week for the Rams culminated in Odell Beckham choosing L.A. over the Saints, Chiefs, Patriots, and others on the same day glue-guy Robert Woods tore his ACL in practice. Matthew Stafford tweaked an ankle in Week 9’s loss to Tennessee but should be all systems go on long rest. This is a bounce-back spot for the Rams’ still-loaded offense after Sean McVay was simply outcoached by the Titans, who generated immense pressure while McVay refused to implement maximum protections and insisted on empty backfields. The 49ers’ defense has supported safe quarterback floors by yielding top-16 fantasy scores to 7-of-8 signal callers faced and disappointingly ranks bottom 10 in sacks (18) and bottom three in QB hits (36) in Year 1 of the post-Robert Saleh era. … Although Sony Michel got most of his Week 9 work in what amounted to garbage time of L.A.’s 28-16 loss, it is concerning that McVay didn’t ride Darrell Henderson a bit longer toward the end of a game that wasn’t entirely out of hand.
