Monday Night Football
Tennessee @ Buffalo
Team Totals: Bills 29, Titans 18.5
The Bills host the Titans after an especially long rest period following last Thursday night’s demolition of the Rams. Fantasy’s overall QB1 scorer in back-to-back years, Josh Allen picked up right where he left off by netting Week 1’s overall QB2 score against Los Angeles, finishing just 1.4 points behind top finisher Patrick Mahomes. On Opening Day, Tennessee permitted a lofty 9.0 yards per attempt, two TDs, and 25 yards rushing to Daniel Jones, a destitute version of Allen in ex-Bills OC Brian Daboll’s Giants offense. Allen has squared off with Titans HC Mike Vrabel’s defense three times over the past three seasons, in them netting weekly fantasy finishes of QB1 (2021), QB15 (2020), and QB10 (2019). Allen projects as a high-floor, high-ceiling investment here. … Ethered by Giants RBs for 23/188/1 (8.2 YPC) rushing in Week 1, the Titans’ defensive front was further weakened by DT Da’Shawn Hand’s season-ending torn quad. Buffalo’s three-way RBBC was reduced to a two-man ordeal last week when rookie James Cook fumbled away his first NFL touch, playing only three snaps. Devin Singletary (10 touches) and Zack Moss (12) are flex options versus Tennessee. I am valuing Singletary slightly ahead and closer to low-end RB2 range.
