Although the Titans are outwardly calling Ryan Tannehill (ankle) a game-time decision, most signs point to Malik Willis making another start. Even as Kansas City has yielded the most fantasy points in the NFL to quarterbacks, Tennessee’s ultra-conservative usage of Willis prevented him from making any box-score dents during last week’s start against the Texans. Willis isn’t a viable QB1 streamer but is entirely playable in two-QB/Superflex-league scenarios and on one-game DFS-tournament slates in hopes Willis backdoors a big statistical line after the Titans fall behind. … Little specialized analysis is needed for Derrick Henry, who is averaging 29.2 touches over his last five games. Henry is an elite-RB1 volume monster whose main theoretical Week 9 obstacle would be game flow contingent upon Kansas City jumping well out in front. … Willis attempted just 10 passes in his NFL starting debut, and ideally the Titans would keep him in the same range here. Tennessee’s game-planned restrictions on Willis’ pass volume eliminate any fantasy appeal among Titans pass catchers, even on single-game DFS slates.
