Minnesota vs. New Orleans
Team Totals: Vikings 22, Saints 19
Dalvin Cook has been playing through chronic shoulder injuries since early in his college career, so it should perhaps come as no surprise he’ll play Sunday morning just after dislocating his shoulder in Week 3. The bad news is Cook could be limited in favor of comparable talent Alexander Mattison, while the Saints have restricted enemy backs to a combined 80/328/1 (4.1 YPC) rushing line. I’m approaching Cook as a boom-bust RB2 and Mattison as a low-floor flex option. … New Orleans’ defense held Tom Brady to Week 2’s overall QB27 score and Baker Mayfield to Week 3’s QB26 result and enters Week 4 allowing the NFL’s ninth-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.0) and a league-low two passing TDs. I’m treating Kirk Cousins as a low-priority QB2 whose ceiling lowered when the Saints ruled out many critical skill players.
