The Chargers added much-needed WR help with Ole Miss WR Tre Harris in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Los Angeles took Ladd McConkey in Round 2 last year and it paid off handsomely, so we’ll see if Harris can make it two straight hits. Let’s break this pick down from a fantasy angle.
TRE HARRIS
- Harris spent the first three years of his college career at Louisiana Tech before transferring to Ole Miss, where he started for his final two college seasons. Harris elevated his game to another level in 2024 with 987 receiving yards through mid-October – most in the FBS – but then he played just 16 snaps over the rest of the season while dealing with injury (according to Dane Brugler’s “The Beast” draft guide”). Harris is a fine athlete but won’t blow you away in that regard and his route tree in college was somewhat limited, but he has tremendous ball skills. Widely projected to go late in Round 2 or early in Round 3, Harris can step in and contribute to an NFL offense right away.
