Well, this slate got smaller with three games getting postponed, including what would’ve been a fun one with Hawks vs. Suns. It sounds like everything else is good to go and the Mavericks were traveling yesterday. There’s a lot of news to digest today, but a couple items stand out.

Top News to Watch

The late games have a big Q tag with Jusuf Nurkic (quad) questionable for this one. He suffered the injury on Monday and did not return. It’s only a contusion, but this is a back-to-back set for him. After the game, coach Terry Stotts suggested he wanted to go small anyway against the Raptors, and that’s part of the reason why we saw so much Carmelo Anthony and Robert Covington as the PF/C combos late. If Nurk can’t go, the Blazers can still go small against Marvin Bagley as a five and they might even use Harry B as a four anyway. That may take some upside off Enes Kanter or Harry Giles in a revenge game. They’re still options, of course.
