A top-seven fantasy QB1 in each of Arizona’s first four games, Kyler Murray has salvaged an otherwise disappointing start by leading all NFL quarterbacks in rushing yards (265) and rushing TDs (4). Despite DeAndre Hopkins’ addition, Murray’s yards per pass attempt have fallen from 6.9 as a rookie to 6.4, and he is on pace to commit ten more turnovers. Each of the last three quarterbacks to face the Jets finished QB22 or worse. I still like Murray’s chances of delivering another top-10 week based on Gang Green’s deficient defensive personnel, and remain optimistic we’ll see passing progression soon. After visiting the Jets, the Cardinals have a cupcake schedule forthcoming (@ DAL, vs. SEA, vs. MIA). … Kenyan Drake’s early-season slump is symptomatic of the Cardinals’ overall offensive woes. A truly elite rushing team in 2019, Arizona has only gotten consistent ground-game production from Murray, while Chase Edmonds is hogging in-space touches with 17 targets to Drake’s five.
