Our Adam Levitan devised a tried-and-true method for reviewing his NFL DFS cash lineups every week. And if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. My goal here is simply to apply Adam’s structure to PGA DFS cash lineups.
To steal directly from Adam, I play around 50-75% of my action each week in “cash games.” Cash games refer to any contest in which roughly 50% of the field gets paid out, such as head-to-heads, double-ups, or 50/50s.
Each week, I’ll review my cash-game lineup in this space. Sometimes I’ll lose, but hopefully I’ll win more often. Either way, I’ll post it here and give you my thought process. For more on PGA cash-game strategy, see my How to Beat PGA DFS Cash Games article.

Nearly every week in this column, I emphasize my priority on golfers who consistently find fairways when building cash lineups — especially for the past three weeks while the Tour was in Florida. But this week, we got a change of pace, as the Tour headed to Memorial Park for the Houston Open, where the penalty for a missed fairway was nothing compared to what we saw on the Florida swing. This setup allowed me to change my approach to cash games, as I was allowed to swing for the fences, both literally and figuratively.
MY MUST PLAYS
- Min Woo Lee ($9,900) is someone whom I generally shy away from playing in cash games due to his sometimes erratic play, but he has really become more consistent this year, having not missed a single cut all season. Additionally, he was the defending champion, he’s a bomber with an elite short game, and he had our highest projection on the slate. Because the pricing was so loose after Scottie Scheffler’s late withdrawal, I had no issue fitting in the most expensive golfer on the slate.
- Chris Gotterup ($9,800) was the other golfer at the top of the board who I felt most comfortable with this week. Entering this week, Gotterup was already having an amazing season, winning twice in his first seven starts with just one missed cut. Memorial Park was the perfect setup for Gotterup on paper, as he is a bomber with strong approach play and an above-average short game. There were many intriguing options in the $9K range this week, but Lee and Gotterup were the only two that I felt completely comfortable with for cash purposes.
