We have finally reached peak fall swing on the PGA Tour with the Butterfield Bermuda Championship this week. The Butterfield returns to Port Royal golf course for the seventh consecutive season with undoubtedly the weakest, non-opposite event field of 2025 featuring just two of the WGR’s top 50 players, none better than Michael Brennan at 40th.

The Course:

Port Royal is set to play as a 6,828-yard par 71 this week with four par 3s, three par 5s, and 11 par 4s, and will feature Bermuda grass from tee to green. By modern PGA Tour golf standards, 6,800 yards is about as short as it gets. There is only a single par 4 that plays over 450 yards on the scorecard, and two of the three par 5s barely crack 500 yards at 517 and 507, respectively. On the other hand, three of the four par 3s play over 210 yards, so even long hitters will be forced to hit a few mid to long irons over the course of the week.
