Buffalo @ Carolina
Team Totals: Bills 27, Panthers 20
The Bills come off Week 7’s bye to visit a surging Panthers team that’s won four of its last five and has an above-.500 record for the first time since 2021. The last four quarterbacks to face Carolina were Drake Maye (QB8), Tua Tagovailoa (QB9), Dak Prescott (QB6), and Jets (discard). After Buffalo dropped each of its two games before the bye, I’m betting on Josh Allen to come out guns blazing. … James Cook’s lack of passing-game involvement was correctible during the open date; Cook drew one solitary target during the Bills’ two-game losing streak. The Panthers have allowed the NFL’s sixth-most receptions to running backs (35). Over his last 17 games — including playoffs — Cook has turned 289 touches into 1,563 yards and 18 touchdowns. Cook warrants mid-range RB1 fantasy valuation here.
