Atlanta hogged the ball for 77 plays against the Cardinals last week, ending Jacoby Brissett’s six-game streak of 40+ attempts; volume won’t be an issue here to inevitably try and match the Bengals point-for-point. Note that 89% of Brissett’s TDs have come from a clean pocket, and Cincinnati’s ability to create pressure has crumbled to 28th without EDGE Joseph Ossai (ankle) on the field. The absences of LT Paris Johnson Jr. (knee) and LG Evan Brown (personal) are the only roadblocks between Brissett and a QB1 finish. … Someone’s going to get there against this Bengals front seven, but hand-picking who became dicey after Michael Carter handled 50% of Arizona’s RB touches over Corey Kiner (27%) and Emari Demercado (23%) only one week after Carter dominated that share (with 75% against Houston). The rug could always be pulled out from underneath him (as it was last week), but Carter still projects to lead the group in touches as a fringe RB2 with a wide range of outcomes (including being an absolute dud).
