Monday Night Football
Arizona @ Dallas
Team Totals: Cardinals 28.5, Cowboys 26
After setting season highs in completions (27), passing yards (380), and yards per pass attempt (10.3) in Week 5’s breezy win over the Jets, Kyler Murray encounters an even softer matchup at Dallas, which yielded point totals of 39, 38, 49, and 34 over its last four games and a sterling 11:1 TD-to-INT ratio to enemy passers. As Murray’s QB rating skyrockets from an anemic 24.2 when pressured to 107.5 in clean pockets, it’s notable that Cowboys hot-seat DC Mike Nolan’s defense ranks in the NFL’s bottom half in sacks (10) and QB hits (28). As usual, Murray is a high-floor, high-ceiling QB1 play on Monday night. … Missing MLB Leighton Vander Esch (collarbone) and DT Trysten Hill (ACL), Nolan’s defense got trucked by Seahawks, Browns, and Giants backs for a combined 77/407/3 (5.29 YPC) rushing line in Weeks 3-5. Although Kenyan Drake’s lack of receiving involvement continues to frustrate, this is a friendly enough matchup for Arizona’s rushing attack for Drake to warrant RB2 treatment.
