I’m treating Mahomes as a boom-bust QB1 bet here. … As Clyde Edwards-Helaire (MCL, I.R.) is due back soon but not this week, we should expect Kansas City’s backfield to look similar to last Sunday’s, when Darrel Williams led the position group in playing time (54%) and touches but committed multiple penalties, struggled in pass protection, and pathetically gained 77 scoreless yards on his 22 touches. The Chiefs showed no Week 9 interest in meaningfully involving Jerick McKinnon or Derrick Gore as ball handlers against the Packers.
