Miami @ Chicago
Team Totals: Dolphins 25.5, Bears 20.5
The Dolphins’ offensive surge should continue at Chicago, which over the past 10 days dealt its top two front-seven defenders in Robert Quinn (Eagles) and Roquan Smith (Ravens). Last week, Dak Prescott carved the Bears’ defense for 21-of-27 passing (78%), 250 yards (9.3 YPA), two touchdowns, one pick, and 5/34/1 rushing with one sack taken on 28 dropbacks. Leading the league in yards per pass attempt (9.0) and QB rating (112.7), Tua Tagovailoa profiles as a confident QB1 starter. … The Fins’ acquisition of Jeff Wilson from San Francisco reunites Wilson with Mike McDaniel, who worked on the 49ers’ staff from 2017-2021. A post-contact-creating runner more than familiar with Miami’s outside-zone scheme, Wilson should sooner than later form an even committee with Raheem Mostert, especially with Chase Edmonds sent to Denver. Pending health and practice reports, I still like the idea of aggressively dialing up Mostert here against a Bears defense permitting the league’s fifth-most fantasy running back points.
