N.Y. Jets @ Seattle
Team Totals: Seahawks 30.25, Jets 16.75
Fresh off his top fantasy outcome of the season in Week 13’s near-upset of Las Vegas, Sam Darnold unfortunately visits Seattle without Denzel Mims (personal) and probably Jamison Crowder (calf). This week’s matchup is still favorable enough to render Darnold a quality two-quarterback-league play with YOLO DFS-tournament appeal; 9-of-12 signal callers to face the Seahawks have banked top-12 fantasy scores. Darnold is still missing two of his top-three weapons, however, and Seattle’s defense has held its last four opponents to a 19.5-point average after being gashed for 30.4 PPG over its initial eight games. Darnold is a boom-bust QB2, while the Seahawks’ D/ST is an exciting bet. … Even after Ty Johnson and Josh Adams gashed the Raiders in Week 13 following Frank Gore’s (concussion) early departure, Gore projects as the Jets’ Week 14 backfield usage leader considering Adam Gase’s strange commitment to featuring him.
