Although Devontae Booker and Jalen Richard have cut into Jacobs’ usage lately, both backups have been almost entirely ineffective. Decimated up front, Denver’s defense has lost EDGE Von Miller (ankle), DT Jurrell Casey (torn biceps), and NT Mike Purcell (Lisfranc) to I.R. since the beginning of the year, while EDGE Bradley Chubb (ankle) is in danger of missing his second straight game.
