Especially with Josh Jacobs (ankle) shy of 100%, Jon Gruden may need to lean on Carr more than usual. Still having finished above fantasy’s weekly QB12 in just 2-of-11 starts, Carr profiles as a boom-bust bet. … Early-week reports suggested Jacobs’ ankle injury isn’t serious, and the lopsided nature of last Sunday’s defeat assuredly contributed to Jacobs’ second-half absence. Still, Jacobs has dealt with an accumulation of injuries over the course of the season, and the Raiders should be able to handle the winless Jets without him. Devontae Booker deserves to be rostered in all season-long leagues just in case Jacobs sits.
