L.A. Rams @ Arizona
Team Totals: Cardinals 24.5, Rams 23.5
No team enters Week 2 in worse condition than the Rams. LT Alaric Jackson is suspended. Fill-in LT Joe Noteboom (ankle) is on I.R. C Steve Avila (MCL) joined him on I.R. this week. RG Kevin Dotson (ankle) isn’t practicing. RT Rob Havenstein (foot) missed Week 1. 2023 leading receiver Puka Nacua (PCL) isn’t expected back until Week 7. Even as a career surrounding-talent elevator facing Arizona’s Swiss-cheese defense, Matthew Stafford is an uncomfortable QB1 play. … In Week 1’s loss to Detroit, Kyren Williams logged 21 touches on 91% of the Rams’ snaps, while third-round rookie Blake Corum never saw the field on offense. HC Sean McVay attributed their usage to his established trust level in Williams amid L.A.’s offensive-line depletion. Williams will be running behind backup blockers at Arizona, but his workload potential is enormous due to the circumstances around him.
