New Orleans @ Las Vegas
Team Totals: Saints 28.25, Raiders 22.25

Missing passing-game focal point Michael Thomas (high ankle sprain) for an indefinite period, the Saints visit Vegas with a surprisingly high team total coming off a troublingly inefficient Week 1. In 2019, Sean Payton’s offense tied for sixth in the NFL in yards per play (5.9). Against the Bucs, New Orleans managed 4.1 yards per play, third lowest in the league. Thomas’ absence could inspire Payton to increase Taysom Hill’s usage at Drew Brees’ expense, while Brees’ Week 1 performance lacked aggressiveness and his trademark efficiency. Even against a lowly Raiders defense, Thomas-less Brees is an underwhelming QB1 play. (This is the first time I’ve ever bet the under on a game, grabbing Saints-Raiders below 50.5 points.)
