Monday Night Football
Seattle @ Washington
Team Totals: Seahawks 23.5, Football Team 22.5
Their season fast circling the drain at 3-7 coming off consecutive losses since their Week 9 bye — a 17-0 shutout at Green Bay, then an embarrassing 10-point defeat to Colt McCoy’s Cardinals — the Seahawks are a turmoil team lacking identity. The best way to attack Washington has, by far, been through the air — no team has allowed more fantasy quarterback points, and The Football Team remains without Nos. 1 and 2 EDGE rushers Chase Young (ACL) and Montez Sweat (broken jaw) — yet Pete Carroll’s offensive preferences obviously always involve run-first leanings, and Carroll has every right to commandeer control of OC Shane Waldron’s side of the ball as Seattle’s failures mount. This muddies already-struggling Russell Wilson’s projections. Monday night’s matchup is still friendly enough to keep Wilson on the QB1/2 fringe.
