Houston @ Arizona
Team Totals: Cardinals 32.5, Texans 15
Massive dogs in the desert, the Texans will again trot out Davis Mills with Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) not yet cleared to play. Projected script suggests Mills will be dropping back to pass frequently, which would be excellent news for Arizona’s D/ST, Brandin Cooks as an upside WR2, and Nico Collins as a WR4/flex play and DFS-tournament sleeper. The Cardinals have yielded the NFL’s eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. … Houston’s thoroughly unproductive four-headed RBBC can continue to be ignored, although in especially desperate deep-league scenarios I might be willing to take a longshot chance on David Johnson in this #RevengeGame. The Texans look virtually certain to be playing from behind, and Johnson led their Week 6 backfield in routes run (21) by a 10-route margin. … In an extremely thinned-out fantasy week, Jordan Akins is a streamer play worth mentioning. He ran 12 more pass routes than any other Texans tight end and drew a season-high six targets in last Sunday’s loss to Indianapolis.
