Houston @ Seattle
Team Totals: Texans 19.5, Seahawks 22.5
Seattle’s plethora of defensive injuries including S Julian Love (hamstring) and CBs Devon Witherspoon (knee) and Tariq Woolen (concussion) can be attributed to Baker Mayfield (26.7 fantasy points) and Trevor Lawrence’s (19.2) recent QB1 production. Even with those absences in their secondary, the Seahawks hounded Lawrence for the fourth-highest pressure rate (51%) in Week 6, and C.J. Stroud’s 8.4 yards per attempt from a clean pocket (ninth) has plummeted to 5.1 (24th) with two picks under duress. … Seattle’s suffocated enemy RBs to 1.6 yards before (seventh) and after contact per attempt (fourth), allowing 50+ yards to one player (Christian McCaffrey) all year. Nick Chubb projects to lead Houston in carries as a low-floor RB3/4, but Woody Marks’ skill set should thrive: The Seahawks are giving up a league-high 7.5 weekly targets to RBs.
