Houston @ Tennessee
Team Totals: Titans 27, Texans 17
Picked off three times while absorbing five sacks on 48 dropbacks, Tyrod Taylor played poorly enough in Houston’s pre-bye Week 9 blowout loss to Miami that it’s more than fair to wonder if Tyrod could be on a short leash in favor of rookie Davis Mills entering the second half of a lost season for the 1-8 Texans. Taylor’s Week 11 matchup is favorable enough for risk-embracing fantasy leaguers to tee him up in two-QB leagues and highly contrarian DFS-tournament scenarios — Tennessee has coughed up the NFL’s fifth-most fantasy quarterback points — but Taylor’s floor is obviously far from safe. … After trading Mark Ingram back to the Saints, the Texans’ pre-bye Week 9 backfield consisted of David Johnson at the top, Rex Burkhead second, Phillip Lindsay third, and Scottie Phillips fourth. During the off week, they claimed Royce Freeman off waivers from Carolina. It’s hard to imagine making any fantasy bets here.
