Fantasy Kicker Tiers & Rankings 2025

Targeting kickers in fantasy football isn’t much different than other positions. We’re looking for a combination of talent and opportunity. Opportunity is just tougher to pin down week to week thanks to the variance in how an NFL game can play out. Therefore, we want kickers who we know can capitalize on the opportunity when they get a chance, and those who play on offenses that are likely to be in “scoring position” more than others are likely to get more chances. Kickers that play home games in an ideal weather environment (domes) also see a slight boost in our rankings.

Here’s how we’re viewing kicker tiers in 2025 based on talent and opportunity:

Tier 1: Brandon Aubrey

Brandon Aubrey* (DAL) – Aubrey has separated himself as fantasy’s premier kicker. Dallas has weaponized the 30-year-old over the past two seasons, and he separated from an opportunity standpoint in a big way in 2024. Aubrey had 33 attempts from 40-49 and 50+ yards last season, which is TEN more than the next-closest kicker. He also led the NFL with 47 field goal attempts. A little of that is variance for sure, but it also indicates the confidence to trot out Aubrey as a sure way to secure three points. Dallas once again profiles as a strong offensive and weak defensive team in 2025, leaning their games into higher-scoring environments. I would pretty much never advise to take a kicker before the last round of drafts, but Aubrey may be the lone exception to that rule with his weekly floor and ceiling combination.
