Passing Game Outlook
Jordan Love’s average depth of target shrunk from 9.7 (third) through his first nine games to 8.2 (20th) from Week 11 on, allowing him to keep things simple and excel with 23 touchdowns to only three interceptions before being eliminated in the Divisional Round; he was unfathomably poor out the gates with 14 touchdowns to 10 picks. Gifted a four-year, $220 million contract (and position-high $55 million annually) ahead of 2024’s fantasy-friendly slate of elite offenses punching back, Love should be viewed as a weekly QB1 in the same tier as Dak Prescott. I question the sustainability of Love’s 6.8% touchdown rate down the stretch, but there’s no denying his lid-lifting matchup-based ceiling.
