UPDATED 7:30 pm ET
UPDATE 7:30 pm ET: Rajon Rondo (back) is out, as expected. Alex Caruso was great in the last game and coach Frank Vogel has always talked up getting another ball-handler with LeBron James, so Caruso could be a punt option in a strong PG position.
UPDATE 6:00 pm ET: Jae Crowder (ankle) is in the starting lineup for the Heat, as expected. Andre Iguodala (hip) and Derrick Jones Jr. (ankle) are also active, so they should be good to go despite their Q tags.
UPDATE 10:10 am ET: Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is out, as expected. Coach Steve Clifford talked about how he wants to get Gary Clark going early, and overall he said the Magic really need to have a strong first quarter. The offense is expected to look a little different based on Clifford’s comments on Sunday.
We have some teams headed to the second round already, and the Heat can join them today with another win. That should mean big minutes in that game. Injury wise, the Heat have some questionable players, but they should be fine. Aaron Gordon kicks off the day again.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Orlando Magic, 1:30 pm ET
The Bucks have nobody on their injury report.
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is questionable yet again. On Sunday, coach Steve Clifford basically had the same update as Friday. On Sunday, Clifford said Gordon did a little more on Sunday, and again he’ll want to see how he feels. Clifford did talk about how Gary Clark has to start faster, so it’s tough to buy being confident on Gordon. Michael Carter-Williams is out, and Clifford said he is planning to get more spacing after a lack of treys.
Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 4:00 pm ET
Russell Westbrook (quad) remains out, so nothing new here. James Harden will get big usage while Jeff Green, Eric Gordon and Danuel House have really stepped up. Luc Mbah a Moute (knee) is also out.
The Thunder have a clean injury report.
Indiana Pacers vs. Miami Heat, 6;30 pm ET
Nothing new on the Pacers’ injury report with Domantas Sabonis (foot) still out.
The Heat have listed Derrick Jones Jr. (ankle) and Jae Crowder (ankle) as questionable yet again. They should be fine. Andre Iguodala (hip) is also questionable, but he should be all set here. Chris Silva (groin) is questionable and Gabe Vincent is out.
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 9:00 pm ET
Rajon Rondo (back) is doubtful after a late scratch, so this could really set up Alex Caruso. Coach Frank Vogel really praised Caruso, so he should have a shot at 27-30 minutes. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are probable. Nothing going on there.
The Blazers have Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum listed as available. They’ll be good to go at less than 100% in a bad matchup.
